Jenna Macdonald

I have dedicated my career to helping students unlock their full potential as readers and learners. I began working in public education in 2011, spending over a decade in K-12 classrooms where I saw firsthand the challenges students with dyslexia and other learning differences face, and the transformation that happens when they get the right support.

In the fall of 2020, I pursued advanced training in structured literacy through the Certified Academic Language Therapist (CALT) program at Neuhaus Education Center. I passed my ALTA CALT exam in fall 2023, becoming a Certified Academic Language Therapist. During my time as a dyslexia specialist with Irving ISD, I not only worked directly with students but also coached and mentored other dyslexia interventionists and therapists, helping strengthen the quality of literacy instruction across the district.

Since then, I have worked with both public and private students, delivering individualized, evidence-based literacy instruction. For me, the goal has never been just literacy skills, it’s confidence. I believe every student deserves to see themselves as capable readers and learners, and I bring this belief into every session.
