Shannon Maloney
Speech-Language Pathologist
Hello! My name is Shannon Maloney. I am a licensed, American-Speech- Language-Hearing-Association (ASHA) certified speech-language pathologist (SLP). I am passionate about helping individuals of all ages and backgrounds communicate more independently.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology from West Virginia University, with a minor in Special Education, and my Master of Science from William Paterson University.
I have a strong background in school-based settings, working with children in preschool through eighth grade. As a graduate student I gained clinical experience in inpatient, outpatient, and NICU settings. I have experience working with children with speech sound disorders, expressive and receptive language disorder, fluency disorder, Down Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder and more. I am dedicated to the field, and was honored with the ASHA ACE award for my commitment to professional development. Additionally, in 2019 I was awarded Educational Services Professional of the Year award for my school district.
I absolutely love teletherapy, and aim to create a fun and engaging learning environment.
